I was disappointed to see that in your story about Apple Valley Assistant Town Manager Marc Puckett’s driving record, you only enumerated traffic infractions in San Bernardino County (A history of infractions: Between 2011 and 2014, Apple Valley’s finance director paid more than $3,000 in traffic fines,
Daily Press, December 7, 2017).
Mr. Puckett lives in Orange County, which means there may be additional infractions in Riverside and Orange Counties, not to mention the potential for infractions for any trips to Los Angeles County.
I haven’t received a ticket in California in more than 40 years, but if memory serves, there is a point system for bad drivers. Too many points and you lose your license.
How is it legal for Mr. Puckett still to be on the road?
