Town to livestream water trial closing arguments
Apple Valley, CA — Feb. 2, 2021: Closing arguments in the Town’s water trial to acquire the Liberty Utilities Apple Valley water system are scheduled for Feb. 4 and 5. Due to COVID restrictions, the San Bernardino County courthouse is not open to visitors however the Town will livestream the closing arguments to www.AppleValley.tv (click on the green Watch Live button) and on the Town’s public access channels (local Spectrum 186 and Frontier 29).

Yet the Council has invited folks to go sailing without disclosing their current position, that there is no (qualified) captain, no compass, no area charts, no rudder, and no paddles, let alone a seaworthy ship. The council members speak to us from dark rooms, stoically reading from a script someone else prepared that asks for $7 million in additional taxes. What is the embarkation fee per adult, and is there a senior discount?

The measure claims eight police officers would be hired with money raised. After 44 in law enforcement, I always support the police. Here are my reasons for no on O.
