you say, parts of Apple Valley are not going to be improved because we live in a rural area.
OK, so let’s look at the Town’s crown jewel, The Village. Businesses in The Village pay additional taxes by virtue of being in this area, and Mayor Scott Nassif and Councilman Larry Cusack each own businesses in this area. This is as good as it gets in Apple Valley.
Marc Puckett got financial awards before financial improprieties discovered
The Daily Press had a story recently where the Town of Apple Valley’s Finance Department — lead by former Flint, MI Finance Director Marc Puckett — received a financial reporting award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
Mr. Puckett has a long history with this award.
